My husband and I recently held a wedding reception for family and friends and had B.O.S.S. Disc Jockey, representative Brent Okum; provide the musical entertainment for the evening.

I chose B.O.S.S. Disc Jockey after attending two work Christmas Parties that were D.J.’d by Brent Okum. Upon contacting Brent and expressing an interest in having him D.J. our wedding reception, we set up an initial meeting to discuss the terms of our contract and what we had in mind.

Brent was very open to any ideas that we had and was also very helpful in giving us advise and suggestions in areas where we were undecided. He asked what music we wanted to hear and if there were any songs that we did not want played.

The day of our reception arrived and everything went as planned. When we arrived, there was quiet background music on. Brent greeted us and made sure all the last minute things were in place. He confirmed the songs that we wanted played for the first two dances and made the transition from being announced, sitting and having dinner, speeches and moving into the dance portion of the evening run smoothly.

Throughout the evening, Brent checked in with both myself and my husband to see if there was anything that we wanted to hear and to ensure that we were having a good time. Several of our guests commented on how well they liked the music and Brent’s manner of interaction.

Brent had a wonderful plan on getting the crowd on to the dance floor and participating in the evening’s festivities. I won’t provide too much detail around this, as I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but understand that this made the evening for a lot of our guests, us included.

I hope to leave you with the understanding that we were very pleased with the contribution that B.O.S.S. Disc jockey made to our evening. A party is nothing without good music and someone who is dedicated to ensuring that everyone is having a good time. It was truly a pleasure to meet someone who appears to genuinely love his job and be great at entertaining others.
